Construction and Demolition Waste Recycling Plant

Construction and demolition waste is the waste generated during the construction, renovation and demolition of buildings, roads and bridges, including concrete, wood, asphalt, plaster, cardboard, metal products, bricks, glass, plastic products, etc. With a construction and demolition waste disposal line, it is possible to recycle these materials, reduce pollution, improve resource utilisation and create economic value at the same time.

Construction and demolition waste contains in large quantities asphalt, bricks and concrete (known as ABC). Asphalt paving materials can be crushed and reassembled with aggregates and emulsifiers to make new pavements, or used as gravel bedding in road or embankment construction; bricks and concrete can be used as recycled sand and aggregate after crushing and removing reinforcement, and it has a wide range of applications in various construction projects; the powder produced during the recycling process can be used in a variety of areas, such as building filler, manufactured soil, etc.

Shredder or crusher?

Generally speaking, construction and demolition waste contains large amounts of medium to high hardness materials such as concrete, asphalt, masonry and rubble, which are best disposed of in a crusher.

If the material content is high in waste wood, plastic and metal door frames, the shredder is usually used.

If the construction and demolition waste contains the above two kinds of mixed waste, it is necessary to configure a crusher and a shredder in the production line at the same time.
